Michael Prebles posted his first career top-10 finish at the tournament

CHESTERTON, Ind. - Xavier men's golf finished up action at the Valparaiso Fall Invitational on Tuesday evening. The two-day tournament was played at Sand Creek Country Club.

The Musketeers shot a 54-hole total of 897 (+33), ranking tied for fourth out of 12 teams. Xavier posted its best round of golf this season in the final round, recording a score of 292 (+4).

Michael Prebles posted his first career top-10 finish, recording a score of 217 (+1) to place tied for eighth. He hit four-under-par (68) in the final round, the lowest round score of any golfer during the tournament.

Wright State placed first with a 54-hole score of 854 (-10), one stroke ahead of tournament host Valparaiso (855, -9). Wright State's Mikkel Mathiesen placed first in a field of 72 golfers with a 54-hole score of 211 (-5).
