Musketeers Place 11th at Flyer Invitational to End Fall Season

KETTERING, Ohio - Xavier men's golf placed 11th (out of 13 teams) at the Dayton Flyer Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 18 to wrap up its fall season. The two-day tournament was held at the NCR Country Club (South Course).

Illinois won the tournament with a score of 881 (+29), four strokes ahead of runner-up Marquette (885, +33).

Marshall's Tyler Jones took home the medalist honors with a score of 213 (E), two strokes ahead of runner-up Tyler Goecke (Wright State) who posted a score of 215 (+2). The field consisted of 83 golfers.

Mason Witt led the Musketeers with a score of 225 (+12), finishing tied for 19th.
