Corsaro Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week

NEW YORK - After a 2-0 weekend for the Musketeers, two members of the squad received BIG EAST weekly honors. Lucia Corsaro was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week while Carrigan O'Reilly was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll.

Corsaro was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Oct. 24.

The sophomore libero had a standout weekend with a total of 36 digs, four aces, and 11 assists.

Corsaro's career totals improve to 401 digs, 30 service aces, and 64 assists.

HONOR ROLL

O'Reilly was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season and the 11th time in her career on Oct. 24

The senior tallied her 27th career double-double in the Georgetown match with 58 assists and 17 digs. The setter posted 95 assists, 16 kills, 24 digs, and five blocks between the two matches.

O'Reilly's career totals improved to 2,895 assists, 370 kills, 797 digs, and 114 block assists.
