NEW YORKÂ - Xavier women's golf picked up multiple accolades on Tuesday afternoon as the BIG EAST announced its major award winners and all-conference selections. The selections were voted on by conference head coaches.
Sophomore Emma McMyler was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Year for the second time in as many seasons, while freshman Kara Carter earned All-BIG EAST honors. Breanna Jenco and her staff (David Patz) also picked up Coaching Staff of the Year honors, sharing the honors with Creighton's Debbie Conry.
McMyler has now earned All-BIG EAST honors twice in addition to being tabbed Freshman of the Year (2021) and Player of the Year twice (2021, 2022). The San Antonio, Texas, native leads the BIG EAST in lowest average score (73.14) this season, while ranking 239th overall in the NCAA.
McMyler shared individual medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships with teammate Abby Kiefer and Creighton's Katherine Lemke. All told, she has four top-10 finishes this season with two medalist performances.

Coach Jenco earns coach of the year honors for the fourth time in her career after leading the Musketeers to the 2022 BIG EAST Title. She also earned the honors in 2016, 2019 and 2021.
Xavier is coming off its third straight conference title, winning the team title on April 23. The Musketeers had three players finish in the top 10, including Kiefer and McMyler who earned individual medalist honors.
