CINCINNATI - Ahead of the 2022-23 season, kicking off on Sunday, September 25 at the Butler Double Duals, meet Xavier Swimming's 12 newcomers. Four women and eight men join the Musketeers for the upcoming season.

Emma Amon is a freshman from Yuma, Ariz., where she attended Cibola High School and competed for the Yuma Heat. She specializes in IM and breaststroke and was ranked No. 25 in the state of Arizona on SwimCloud.com.

At the AIA Division I Girls State Championship in November 2021, Amon was a two-time finalist, finishing fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 breast.

She has personal-best time of 1:04.62 in the 100-yard breast and the 2:21.90 breast, and 2:06.47 in the 200 IM, and 4:36.77 in the 400 IM.

Olivia Oyster is a freshman from Delaware, Ohio, where she attended Bishop Watterson High School and also competed with the United Swim Association. Oyster specializes in freestyle, and is ranked No. 24 in the state of Ohio on SwimCloud.com

At the 2022 OHSAA Division I State Championships, Oyster was a finalist in the 50 free, placing third with a personal-best time of 23.21. She took the top spot in the event at the sectional meet, and also was a finalist in the 100 free at the sectional meet, placing second.

She set her top time in the 100 free, 51.35, at the 2022 Ohio state meet.

Charlie Ramey is a sophomore from Fishers, Ind., who comes to Xavier from the University of Vermont. She specializes in freestyle sprints and backstroke.

At Vermont, she was a two-time finalist at the America East Conference Championships, placing fifth in both the 200 free and the 200 back. At the conference meet, she set personal-best times in the events during prelims, setting a time of 1:52.07 in the 200 free and 2:02.57 in the 200 back.

During her prep career, she attended Fishers High School and swam for Fishers Area Swimming Tigers.

Sydney Smith is a freshman from Apex, N.C., where she attended Apex High School and competed for Marlines of Raleigh. She specializes in distance freestyle and was ranked No. 31 in the state of North Carolina.

She was a two-time finalist at the 2022 NCHSAA 4A Central Regionals, helping her team to a second-place finish. Smith finished second in the 500 free, with a personal-best time of 5:04.40, and fifth in the 200 free, setting a personal-best time of 1:53.30.

At the Speedo Sectionals in Cary, N.C. in March 2022, she set a personal-best time in the mile, finishing in 17:09.38, finishing fifth.

Matthew Adanin is a freshman from Saline, Mich., where he attended Saline High School, and competed most recently for Club Wolverine. He specializes in freestyle and backstroke and is ranked No. 10 in the state of Michigan by SwimCloud.com.

In 2022, Adanin was a two-time finalist at the MHSAA Boys Division 1 State Championships, taking second in the 100 free with a personal-best time of 45.25, and third in the 200 free, with a personal-best time of 1:40.96, helping his team to a fourth-place finish. At the state meet, he also set a personal-best time of 21.58 in the 50 free.

Ben Dupree is a sophomore from Neptune City, N.J., where he attended Christian Brothers Academy and competed for the Y Greater Monmouth Swim Team.

In his most recent competition, 2022 NJ EEX Jeffrey S Mace Memorial Summer Sizzle Meet, Dupree set a personal-best time of 1:05.33 in the 100-m fly. Dupree took part in the 2022 YMCA Short Course National Championships in March, setting a personal-best time of 2:02.62 in the 200 breast. He set his top time in the 100 breast in late 2021, a time of 56.32 at the MR EEX Holiday Classic XXXIV. In 2021 he also set his top times in the 50 free (21.34), 100 free (46.86), 200 free (1:42.71) and 200 IM (1:53.67).

Dupree was twice named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

T'Lez Foulkes is a senior from Durham, N.C., who transferred to Xavier from Howard University. He specializes in breaststroke as well as free and IM.

In last season's Northeast Conference Championships, Foulkes took part in the finals of the 100 breast, and also took part in the 100 free and the 200 IM, helping Howard to a second-place team finish. Â His personal-best time of 56.78 in the 100 breast was set at the 2020 CSCAA National Invitational Championships. He also took part in the 50 breast at the event, setting a personal-best time of 25.83.

Foulkes also took part in the 2021 Bahamas National Championships, where he was a two-time finalist and picked up top-10 finishes in the 100-m breast and the 50-m free.

Prior to his time at Howard, Foulkes attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and competed most recently with the North Carolina Aquatic Club.

Kyle Hudson is freshman from Napoleon, Ohio, where he attended Napoleon High School and also competed for the Napoleon Aquatic Club. He specializes in the 100 and 200 free, 200 back and 200 IM, and is ranked No. 12 in the state of Ohio by SwimCloud.

Hudson set six school records during high school, and won the 200 free title at the 2022 OHSAA State Championship meet with a personal-best time of 1:37.53. In the 100 free, he was 2022 runner up at the state meet, and has a personal best time of 45.43 in 100 free at OHSAA Northwest District Meet in 2021. Hudson's career-best time in the 200 IM, 1:52.91, was set at the Northwest Ohio Christmas Classic in 2021.

During his prep career, Hudson was eight time All-Ohioan and earned All-American honors in the 100 free and 200 free.

Seth Kibler is a junior from Buffalo, N.Y., coming to Xavier from the Florida Institute of Technology. He specializes in the 200, 500 and 1,650 free, as well as the 200 fly.

At Florida Institute of Technology, Kibler helped the team with the 2022 Sunshine State Conference Championship, taking third in the 200 fly and picking a top-10 finish in the 1,650 free. His 200 fly time at the conference meet in 2022 is a career-best mark, 1:49.11, an NCAA DII B-Cut time. At the conference meet, Kibler also set his personal-best and B-Cut times in the 1000 free (9:29.70) and the mile (15:57.09), as well as a personal-best time of in the 200 free (1:41.85)

During his prep career, Kibler competed for Canisius High School, helping the team win the conference title in each of the three years he competed (2017, 2018, 2019), winning the event title in the 100 fly and 100 back in 2019.

Aiden Leamer is a freshman from Mason, Ohio, where he attended Kings Mills High School and competed for Countryside Ralph Stolle YMCA. He specializes in butterfly, IM and free, and ranks No. 27 in the state of Ohio by SwimCloud.com.

At his most recent meet, the ISCA Summer Senior Blast in July 2022, Leamer set seven personal-best times, won three events and was a finalist in three other events. Leamer won the 100-m fly with a personal-best time of 55.63, and also won the 50-m fly and 200-m fly. He set a personal-best time of 24.14 in the 50-m free, placing third, and a personal-best time of 53.96 in the 100-m free prelims. He also set a time of 2:11.94 in the 200-m IM finals, a personal-best, to collect a top-10 finish.

In 2022, he was also a two-time finalist at the YMCA Short Course National Championships (100 fly, 200 fly) and a finalist in the 100 fly at the OHSAA Division I State Championships.

Jonathan Mason is a freshman from Davison, Mich., where he attended Davison High School and competed most recently for the Flint Falcons. Mason swims the free, breast and IM, and is ranked No. 32 in the state of Michigan by SwimCloud.com

In freestyle, Mason set personal-best times in the 50 free (22.44), 100 free (48.76) and 200 free (1:43.97) at the MCSA Senior Cup Championships in March 2022. His personal best times in the 200 breast (2:05.74) and the 400 IM (4:03.62) were set at the NCSA Spring Championships in March 2022.

In the 100 back, Mason has a top time of 55.30, set at the MCSA Senior Cup Championships in August 2022, and in the 200 back, his personal-best time is 2:04.93, set in February 2022 at the 2022 Michigan open.

Aiden Neuman is a sophomore from Canton, Ohio, who joins the Musketeers from Penn State University. He specializes in the 100 and 200 back, as well as 200 IM.

In the backstroke events, he set his personal best times in the events at the Penn State vs. Villanova meet in January 2022, finishing the 100 back in 49.62, and the 200 back in 1:51.20. He has a personal-best time of 1:51.59 in the 200 IM.

During his prep career, Neuman attended Jackson High School, where he earned All-American honors twice and was named All-Ohio nine times.
