Cross Country Teams Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Xavier women post a 3.42 GPA, men record a 3.31 GPA
NEW ORLEANS - The Xavier men's and women's cross country programs earned the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Team Academic Award on Thursday.
The Xavier women posted a 3.42 GPA, while the men recorded a 3.31 GPA.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
Georgia State paced 249 women's programs that earned the honors with a 3.99 GPA. On the men's side, Vanderbilt led 216 teams that earned the honors with a 3.77 GPA.
