Oscar Zimmerman Places Third at UConn Invitational at GreatHorse

HAMPDEN, Mass. - Oscar Zimmerman led the Musketeers at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, posting a third-place finish on Tuesday afternoon. The three-day tournament was held at GreatHorse Country Club in Hampden, Mass.

The third-place finish for Zimmerman is the highest finish of his career (previously placed tied for 17th at the Bay Area Invitational on Feb. 22, 2022). He posted a 54-hole score of 217 (+1) to pace the Musketeers.

Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 895 (+31) at the tournament, finishing sixth in the team standings (out of 13 teams). UConn won the event by 11 strokes, recording a score of 868 (+4). Siena placed second with a score of 879 (+15).

UConn's Connor Goode took home medalist honors with score of 215 (-1). Long Island's Lewis Wright placed second with a score of 216 (E).
