MADISON, Wis. - Xavier cross country closed its 2023 season on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The meet was held at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.

The Xavier men placed 18th (out of 30 teams), while the women placed 19th (out of 32 teams). The men's 10K Race featured 209 runners, while the women's 6K Race had 228 competitors.

Trevor Nolan highlighted the meet, breaking the school record in the 10K race with a time of 31:05.00. The previous record was held by Tommy Kauffmann (31:10.00 - 2010).

All told, four of the top-five finishers on the men's side posted a top-10 performance in the school history.
