Aiden Leamer wins 200 fly on final day of three-day meet
CLEVELANDÂ - Men's and women's swimming wrapped up the three-day CSU Magnus cup on Saturday evening, with the men taking a second place finish while the women placed seventh.
Xavier's next full-squad event is Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, when the Musketeers travel to Oakland for a two-day meet.

WOMEN'S NOTABLE
- Kate Lair led Xavier in the 100 IM, setting a time of 1:00.33 in the finals.
- Erin Ritz posted a time of 25.41 in the A-Final of the 50 fly. Ritz also led Xavier in the 200 fly, setting a time of 2:03.46 in the A-Final.
- Kali Fischer placed fourth in the A-Final of the 200 back with a time of 2:00.65.
- Olivia Oyster finished fourth in the A-Final of the 100 free, setting a time of 50.98.
- Emily Guerrera's time of 2:25.90 in the 200 breast led Xavier in the finals.
- Reese Turner set a time of 26.75 in the A-Final of the 50 back to lead the Musketeers.
- Olivia Oyster, Alexis Worrall, Clara Keiser and Reese Turner set a time of 3:24.98Â in the the 400 free relay to close out the meet.
- Xavier's women collected 550.5 points to place seventh.

- Jack Parker led Xavier in the 100 IM with a third place finish in the A-Final, setting a time of 52.32. Kyle Hudson placed fourth in the A-Final.
- Caleb Petranchuk set a time of 23.24 in the A-Final of the 50 fly, placing fifth.
- Matthew Adanin finished fifth in the A-Final of the 200 back with a time of 1:51.84. Aiden Neuman also took part in the A-Final.
- Kyle Hudson set a time of 45.63 to lead Xavier in the A-Final fo the 100 freestyle. CJ Sorensen also took part in the A-Final.
- Brayden Mandacina set a time of 2:05.82 in the 200 breast to lead the Musketeers in the A-Final. Ethan Saunders also swam the A-Final.
- Matt Fralic placed second in the 50 back, setting a time of 23.38. Gage Hannewyk placed third and Michael Benington finished fourth.
- Aiden Leamer took the top spot and led three Musketeers in the top five of the 200 fly, setting a time of 1:46.39. Jack Parker placed second and Seth Kibler finished fifth. Caleb Petranchuk also competed in the A-Final.
- Xavier's men closed out the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay, with CJ Sorensen, Aiden Leamer, Gage Hannewyk and Kyle Hudson setting a time of 3:03.25.Â
- The Musketeers finished second to Cleveland State with 1418 points.
