Emma McMyler Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK - Emma McMyler was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week for the fifth time this season on Thursday afternoon. She shares the weekly honors with Creighton's Katherine Lemke and St. John's Jessie Kweon who also picked up medalist honors in their last tournament.

The two-time BIG EAST Player of the Year earns the weekly honor for the seventh time in her career.

Xavier posted a runner-up finish at the Chattanooga Classic on April 4. Individually, McMyler took home medalist honors - her third tournament title of the 2022-23 season.

McMyler recorded a score of 207 (-9) at the tournament. The San Antonio, Texas, native has now won six tournaments during her Xavier career. She also has 17 career top-10 finishes.

Xavier has now finished fifth or better in all eight tournaments during the 2022-23 season. The Musketeers have won two tournaments this season to go along with two runner-up finishes.
