Men's Golf Places 10th at BIG EAST Championships

HARDEEVLIEE, S.C. - Xavier finished 10th at the 2023 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship Presented by JEEP. The three-day tournament was held at Riverton Pointe Golf Course.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 898 (+34). Marquette won the tournament, posting a score of 873 (+9). St. John's finished second with a score of 876 (+12).

Individually, freshman Carson Bellish finished eighth with a 54-hole score of 218 (+2) - the highest finish by a Musketeer at the conference championships since Garrett Wood took home medalist honors at the 2019 BIG EAST Championships. The eighth-place finish is the highest finish by a Xavier freshman since 2018 (Garrett Wood - tied for sixth).

Marquette's Bhoom Sima-Aree and St. John's Jack Simon finished tied for first with a score of 213 (-3). Georgetown's Pieter DaGroot finished third (214, -2).
