Trevor Nolan Named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week

The senior runner helped the Musketeers win the Vic Godfrey Open on Sept. 1
NEW YORK - Trevor Nolan was named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Nolan becomes the first Musketeers to earn the weekly honors since Sept. 7, 2021 (Rachel Butler was named BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week).
The senior runner helped the Musketeers win the Vic Godfrey Open in Kenosha, Wis., on Friday, Sept. 1. The meet was hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
The team victory was the first for the men's team since Sept. 2, 2022 when the Musketeers captured the Queen City Invitational Title.Â
Nolan paced the men's team with a second-place finish in a time of 18:40.35 in the 6K race (in a field of 144 runners). The Brownsburg, Ind., native was the first collegian to cross the finish line as Anthony Farmer (Team Ingebrigtsen) won the race in a time of 18:34.72.
Butler graduate student Wiktoria Klebowska took home BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week honors after winning taking home first-place at the Vic Godfrey Open.
