
Trevor Nolan Sets 10K School Record at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

NORTON, Ohio - Trevor Nolan set the 10K school record on Friday at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The meet was co-hosted by the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Mid-American Conference at Silver Creek Metro Park in Norton, Ohio.
Nolan posted a time of 31:02.00, finishing 80th in a field of 213 runners. He owned the previous school record time of 31:05.00, setting the mark at the 2023 NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Madison, Wis.
The Brownsburg, Ind., native finishes his cross country career as the school record holder in both the 8K Race (24:17.30) and the 10K Race (31:02.00).
The Xavier men finished 20th in a field of 31 teams. Butler's William Zegarski won the individual title, posting a time of 29:12.70. Notre Dame took home the team title with 70 points.
Grace Zdankiewicz led the women's team, placing 108th in a field of 227 runners. She posted a 6K time of 21:34.10.
The Xavier women placed 23rd in a field of 32 teams. Toledo's Mercy Kinyanjui took home the individual title in a time 19:29.70. Notre Dame took home the team title with 51 points.
