CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf opens the 2023 season at the Ram Masters Invitational on Sept. 6-7. The two-day tournament is being hosted by Colorado State at Fort Collins Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo.

Course Par/Yardage: Par 70 / 7,218 yards
Tee Times: 8 am MT shotgun start on Wednesday. Tee times (#1 & 10) beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday
Format: The 13-team field will be participating in a 54-hole collegiate tournament to be played at the par 70, 7,218-yard Fort Collins Country Club, located in Fort Collins, Colo. Playing in foursomes, the golfers will play 36 holes in a shotgun start on Wednesday. Pairings for Thursday's tee times for the final 18 holes, will be determined by team score. The low four individual scores will determine the team scores for each round.

• Xavier returns four of its top five performers from the 2023 BIG EAST Championships. The Musketeers also welcome four newcomers to the program: AJ Adams (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas), Ray Filter (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point HS), A.J. Wilhelm (Mason, Ohio/Mason HS) and Oscar Zimmerman (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier HS/Santa Clara).
• Sophomore Carson Bellish finished eighth with a 54-hole score of 218 (+2) at the 2023 BIG EAST Championships - the highest finish by a Musketeer at the conference championships since Garrett Wood took home medalist honors at the 2019 BIG EAST Championships. The eighth-place finish was the highest finish by a Xavier freshman since 2018 (Garrett Wood - tied for sixth).
• Carson Bellish had five top-15 finishes during the spring 2023 season, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the Daytona Beach Spring Invitational on March 7. The finish was the highest individual finish for a Xavier golfer since Oct. 22, 2019 (Imaad Qureshi placed tied for third at the Musketeer Classic).
• Carson Bellish finished the campaign ranked 22nd in the final BIG EAST GolfStat Rankings, the third highest finish by a freshman with an average score of 74.07.
• Xavier played in four tournaments in the fall of 2022 with its highest finish coming at the UConn Invitational on Oct. 3-4 (placed sixth out of 14 teams). The Musketeers finished the tournament with a score of 900 (+36).
• Brian Arlinghaus enters year three at the helm of the program after being hired on June 18, 2021. He joined the Musketeers after serving as the head men's golf coach at Wright State from 2017-21. He was an assistant coach with the Raiders for two seasons (2015-17) before being promoted to head coach.
