Hankerson Highlights BIG EAST Championships with Medalist Performance

The freshman sprinter placed third in the 60-meter dash
CINCINNATI - Xavier indoor track and field wrapped up day two action at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday night. The two-day meet was held at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center in Chicago.
All told, the Musketeers had 13 student-athletes post personal-best times and four student-athletes record season-best marks. Xavier also recorded 12 top-10 performances in school history.
Freshman Laila Hankerson highlighted the meet as she earned a bronze medal in the 60-meter dash (7.59).
