Women's Lacrosse Adds Lamont, Tallchief to 2025 Roster

Xavier will enter its third season as a program in the spring of 2025
CINCINNATI - Xavier head women's lacrosse coach Meg Decker has announced the addition of Hannah Lamont and Ava Tallchief to the 2025 roster.
The two midfielders join the following newcomers for next season: Lilly Cameron, Cemary Chavez, Maya Graham, Morgan Handzel, Brynley Hodge, Brooke Kelly, Logan Jones, Lily Villaflor and Cameron Yard.
Lamont joins the Musketeers from Wells College where she played in 17 games as a freshman. The Albany, N.Y., native led the team to an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship and a 16-1 record.
Lamont was named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year and earned AMCC All-Tournament Team honors. She ranked fourth in the conference in goals (46) and second in assists (31).
Tallchief joins the Musketeers from Lakeshore HS in Irving, N.Y. She was named a 2023 USA Lacrosse All-American by USA Lacrosse.
Tallchief led Lakeshore HS to its second straight Section VI Class C Championship in the spring of 2024.
