Xavier Announces Kelsey Reddy Bezerra ('12) as the New Head Cheerleading Coach

She takes on the head coach role after being an assistant for the last seven years.
CINCINNATI - Kelsey Reddy Bezerra ('12) is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but has been in Cincinnati ever since graduating from Xavier in 2012. She was a gymnast for 15 years and switched to cheerleading in college. She was a 4-year member of the Xavier Cheerleading squad and captain her senior year. She spent one summer on staff for the Universal Cheerleading Association and coached at Mariemont High School for 4 years. This will be her 8th season with Xavier cheerleading, having spent the last seven as an assistant cheer coach as well as the mascot coach.
Her husband, Andre Bezerra, played soccer at Xavier and they met in college. They have two kids – Oliver, 4 and Ivy, 1.5 – and a dog named Cookie.
