Men’s Golf Announces Signing of Sebastian Olsen for Fall 2026

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf coach Brian Arlinghaus has announced the signing of Sebastian Olsen, a native of Aarhus, Denmark, to the Xavier Men's Golf program. Olsen will join the Musketeers beginning in Fall 2026.
A standout competitor on the Danish junior and amateur golf circuit, Olsen brings a proven record of success against elite fields. In 2025, he captured first place at the Møn Bank Open and followed that performance with a fourth-place finish at the Danish National Strokeplay Championship, one of the country's premier national events. His competitive résumé also includes a victory at the 2024 Holstebro Open Championship, along with multiple top-three finishes earlier in his junior career.
Among his notable results, Olsen earned second place at the Lyngbygaard Junior Open in 2023 and third place at the Lübker Championship in 2023, consistently demonstrating poise, scoring ability, and the capacity to contend under pressure.
"Sebastian is a high-level competitor with a strong tournament pedigree," said Arlinghaus. "He's proven he can win, he's comfortable in elite fields, and his trajectory as a player fits exactly what we're building at Xavier. We're excited to welcome him to the Musketeer family."
Olsen's international experience and success in stroke play events align with Xavier's emphasis on competitive toughness, development, and performance on championship-style golf courses.
Olsen will enroll at Xavier University in the fall of 2026 and begin competing with the Musketeers during the 2026–27 season.
