PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - Xavier University wrapped up play at the True Blue Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge with an eighth-place finish, posting a three-day total of 857 (-7) at True Blue Golf Club. The Musketeers battled through the final round, carding a 291 (+3) on Wednesday to secure their spot in the top 10.

TEAM PERFORMANCE
- Xavier started strong with an opening 277 (-11), placing them among the leaders after the first round. However, rounds of 289 (+1) and 291 (+3) over the next two days saw them finish 16 shots back of tournament champions St. John's (-23, 841).
- Statistically, Xavier performed well in key areas:
- Par 3s:Â Tied for best in the field with a 3.01 average.
- Pars:Â Led the tournament with 177, tied with Georgia State.
- Birdies: 51 total, placing them fifth overall.
- Par 5s: Averaged 4.97 (-2), indicating room for improvement on scoring opportunities.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
- Carson Bellish was the standout performer for the Musketeers, finishing third overall with a three-round total of 207 (-9). His opening-round 67 (-5) set the tone, and he remained steady with back-to-back 70s (-2) to secure his top-five finish.
- Zach Burton started strong but the putter went cold and he finished T-27 with a 216 (E).
