Xavier Athletics Celebrates Ninth Annual XSPYS, Sponsored by Kemba Credit Union

CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics celebrated the year in Musketeer sports on Tuesday night, when the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the ninth annual XSPYS presented by Kemba Credit Union. The event was held on the Kohlhepp Family Court at Cintas Center.

Xavier student-athletes voted on a number of categories, on and off the playing field, ranging from Best Play to Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Carter Hendrickson from Baseball took home the Musketeer Magis Award given to a person who constantly seeks out doing more for the universal good of others. The award is for someone who is a consummate leader, is humble and unselfish.

Samantha Wiehe from Women's Soccer and Aiden Leamer from Men's Swimming were both tabbed Musketeer Medal of Honor recipients. The award is given to a senior male and female student-athlete who has achieved excellence in scholarship, athletics, leadership and service.

Lola Mancuso from Lacrosse was named the recipient of the Benjamin Allen Student-Athlete Leadership Award. The award is presented to a current or former student-athlete for making significant contributions to Xavier University and a well-rounded impact on the global community with ingenuity, leadership and determination.

Best Single Game Performance – Sarah Stevens vs. Butler (Volleyball)
Best Teammate – Sarah Stevens (Volleyball)
Musketeer Magis – Carter Hendrickson (Baseball)
Benjamin Allen Student-Athlete Leadership Award – Lola Mancuso (Lacrosse)
Rev. Paul L. O'Connor, S.J. Award – Alexis Worrall (Women's Swimming) and Trevor Nolan (Cross Country/Track)
