Three Musketeers Earn CSC Academic All-District® Team Honors

CINCINNATI – A trio of Musketeers, Connor Misch, Nolan Tucker and Ben Weber, earned a spot on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, announced this week. The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Connor Misch, a junior from Dyer, Ind., was an All-BIG EAST First Team Selection at first base. Misch started in all 59 games this season for the Musketeers, with a .332 average at the plate for the season, with 65 hits, a team-high, and 44 walks for the season, driving in a team-high 50 RBI and scoring 42 runs. In conference play, Misch led the league with a .448 average at the plate through 21 games. Of his 60 hits for the season, 30 have come against conference opponents, including three of his four home runs. Misch, who also leads the conference with a .581 on-base percentage in BIG EAST play, has driven in a team-high 25 RBI against BIG EAST opponents.
Nolan Tucker, a graduate student from Cedar Lake, Ind., was selected to the All-BIG EAST Second Team at second base. He played in 52 games this season, making 43 starts, and led the Musketeers with a.339 average at the plate. Tucker recorded 58 hits and got on with 20 walks, driving in 29 RBI and scoring 39 runs. Tucker had a .375 average through 21 BIG EAST games, which ranked 10th among the league's players. He had 30 hits against conference opponents in at regular season, matching Misch for team high in BIG EAST play, and had 23 runs scored in league play, matching for team high.
Ben Weber, a junior from St. Paul, Minn., was an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection at starting pitcher. He made 18 appearances, including 12 starts, with a team-high 84.2 innings pitched. He posted a 4.15 ERA and a WHIP of 1.37, best among Xavier's qualified pitchers, and had a team-high six wins for the season in 2025. The right-handed pitcher made seven starts in BIG EAST play, with a 3.98 ERA through 43.0 innings pitched in league competition during the regular season, tied for second-most innings pitched among conference pitchers. In BIG EAST games, he collected 20 strikeouts and has a WHIP of 1.47. His four wins in BIG EAST play matched for the most among conference pitchers.
