Four Musketeers Named 2024-25 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. - Four Musketeers were named 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday. Carson Bellish, Zach Burton, Ray Filter and A.J. Wilhelm all earned the honors.
Bellish, Burton, Filter and Wilhelm were also named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team selected by College Sports Communicators on June 17.
Carson Bellish and Ray Filter were named to the All-BIG EAST Team on May 5. Bellish was named to the first team, while Filter picked up second-team honors.
The Musketeers post five, top-three finishes last season with two tournament titles. Xavier placed second at the BIG EAST Championships on April 28, the highest finish for the Musketeers at the BIG EAST Championships since 2016 (also finished second).

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

548 NCAA Division I athletes from 188 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Hawai'i, and Mississippi State each had six recipients, tied with Rhodes (NCAA Division III) and Texas Wesleyan (NAIA) for the most recipients from one school across all six divisions in 2024-25.
