Xavier Sweeps BIG EAST Swimming Weekly Awards

Olivia Oyster and Aiden Leamer collect weekly honors after Musketeers' final duals of the season
NEW YORK - Following the final duals for Xavier swimming ahead of the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, a pair of Musketeers, Olivia Oyster and Aiden Leamer, picked up BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors.Â
Oyster, a senior from Delaware, Ohio, won both individual events she took part in over the weekend and helped Xavier to three second-place finishes and one third in relays, swimming anchor in all four. At Cincinnati, Oyster took the top spot in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.68. She also helped the Xavier A-squad to second place finishes in the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay at UC. At Miami, with Kenyon, Oyster also collected a first-place finish in the 50 free with a time of 23.08, and helped the 400 medley relay place second and the 200 free relay finish third.
Leamer, a junior from Mason, Ohio, finished the weekend with three first place finishes and a pair of second place finishes. Against Cincinnati, Leamer placed first in the 100 fly with a time of 49.88. He also swam the third leg for the winning 200 free relay, and helped the Musketeers to a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay at UC. At Miami with Kenyon, Leamer took first in the 200 fly in a time of 1:47.02. He also helped the Musketeers take second in the 200 free relay.
The Musketeers will next be in action at the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, set to run February 18-21, at FAST in Ocala, Fla.
