Cayse Morgan Places Fifth at Seahawk Intercollegiate

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Xavier placed tied for sixth at the Seahawk Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon. The two-day tournament was hosted by UNCW at Country Club of Landfall.

Xavier placed tied for sixth with North Florida. Both teams recorded 54-hole scores of 878 (+14).

UNCW won the tournament with a score of 846 (-18) in a field of 15 teams. Duke finished second with a score of 855 (-9).

Gray Mitchum (UNCW) and William Love (Duke) took home medalist honors with scores of 210 (-6) in a field of 88 golfers.

Cayse Morgan posted his fifth top-10 finish of the season. The freshman golfer placed tied for fifth with a score of 213 (-3).

Xavier returns to action at the Northern Kentucky's The Jewell on April 6-7. The Musketeers are also sending a squad to the Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou on April 6-7.
