Jessica Carpenter Joins Xavier Swimming Staff

CINCINNATI -Â Xavier swimming head coach Lindsey Niergarth announced the addition of Jessica Carpenter to her staff as assistant coach.

Carpenter comes to Xavier after coaching at Cincinnati Aquatic Club since 2021, most recently serving as head coach after previously serving as associate head coach and lead coach.
Prior to her time with Cincinnati Aquatic Club, Carpenter spent six years with the Cincinnati Marlins, serving as the head satellite coach for the Sycamore location.
Carpenter was a member of the swim program at Bowling Green State University from 2012-14, where she excelled in freestyle sprints, butterfly and backstroke events.
She holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. She holds American Swimming Coaches Association Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
Carpenter and her husband, Alex, have four children, Noah, Xander, Grayson, and Cooper, and a chiweenie named Olive.Â
