2019-20: Took part in three individual events at the 2020 BIG EAST Championships, scoring in all three to help the Musketeers repeat as team champions...Set a season-best time in the prelims of the 200 free at 1:39.50 to earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished fourth...Set a personal-best time of 45.74 in the prelims of the 100 free to earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished sixth...Set a personal-best time in the B-Final of the 50 free, 21.19, to place 11^th overall...Earned All-BIG EAST as part of the second-place finishing 400 free relay...Also took part in the 800 free relay which finished third, also earning all-conference honors.

2018-19: Took part in three individual events at the 2019 BIG EAST Championships, scoring in all three to help the Musketeers win the team title...Finished fifth in the Championship final of the 200 free with a time of 1:39.83...Set a personal-best time for the 200 free and earned all-conference with the lead-off leg of the school-record setting 800 free relay which finished in 6:35.34, placing second...Set a season-best time of 46.19 in the B-Final of the 100 free to place 12^th...Set a season-best time of 4:37.10 in the B-Final of the 500 free to score in 15^th place.

2017-18: Competed in three events at the BIG EAST Championship…Took part in the championship final of the 200 free, setting a season-best time of 1:39.36, the third fastest time in program history…Competed in the B-Final of the 500 free, finishing in 4:34.34, the eighth fastest time set in Xavier records…Also competed in the B-Final of the 100 free, finishing in 46.07, a top-20 time in Xavier’s all-time records…Was part of the second-place finishing 400 free relay which touched the wall in 2:00.47.

PRIOR TO XAVIER: A freestyle specialist...Ritz has set a BIG EAST Championship qualifying time in four of the five freestyle events in the past 12 months, narrowly missing hitting the standard for all five with a 22.40 time in the 50 free at the STAR Invitational in Buffalo, N.Y., a first-place time that was only .05 shy of the conference championship standard. At the same meet, posted a time of 1:43.74 in the 200 free to place second...Set a BIG EAST qualifying time in the 100 free at the 2016 Niagara LSC Championship in March 2016...Finished sixth in the 100 free with a time of 47.58, which is .03 off his personal best time of 47.55 set in Feb. 2015...Also posted 1:42.18 in the 200 free, as part of the 800 free relay that took the top spot...Top time in the 200 free stands at 1:41.80, also set in 2015...Set BIG EAST qualifying time in the 100 free at the 2016 Niagara LSC Championship in March 2016...In the distance events, had a top time of 4:39.40 in the 500 free from the 2016 Niagara LSC Championship, taking second...In the mile, set a time of 16:41.76 at the Star Invitational to take fourth...Also set top times of 54.13 in the 100 back, 1:56.49 in the 200 back.
