Support your Xavier Musketeers all season long! Due to anticipated capacity limitations, we thought it was important to find a way for Xavier fans to still be able to show their support with Xavier Fan Cutouts. Submit a favorite photo of yourself, a family member, or even your pet showing their Xavier pride to cheer on their Musketeers at Cintas Center this 2020-21 season!

All proceeds will support Xavier's 300 student-athletes through the All For One Fund. It is important to note that details regarding capacity limitations are still being developed based on state, local, university, and health guidelines. It is likely these details will remain fluid for the duration of the season. We will continue to provide updates to fans as details are known.

Please review this page prior to ordering to ensure success when submitting your photo. Important details:

While we can't guarantee locations at this time, we'll do our best to place orders at similar times in similar locations within the arena.
Xavier Athletics reserves the right to reject any photo for any reason. If your photo is rejected, you will be contacted about obtaining a new photo.
The cost of fan cutouts do not count towards your Musketeer Points.
Only one person (or pet) per cutout.
Cutouts will be placed in Cintas Center for the 2020-21 season at all Xavier home games.

Securing your fan cutout is simple, quick, and easy. Before securing your cutout and submitting your photo, familiarize yourself with the photo guidelines below.

GUIDELINES FOR THE PERFECT PHOTO

CHOOSING YOUR XAVIER ATTIRE:

A shirt color on the same color background will make you look like a floating head.
Wearing a hat too low will cast a shadow on your eyes and conceal your face.
If you want to wear a hat, make sure there is a good source of light in front of your face.
Team colors and jerseys are encouraged!
Don't know what to do with your hands? Throw up the X!
If you wear glasses, try tilting or angling your face to avoid glare on your glasses. Avoid using the flash, as well.

SELECTING A BACKGROUND:

For best results, we recommend a solid-color background -- use a sheet or blanket if you don't have a wall that will work.
Avoid backlighting -- don't stand in front of a window or a door with your back to them.
Keep personal or private information off of the walls or objects behind you. While photos will be cropped, we can't guarantee that all backgrounds will be removed from these photos.

TAKING THE PICTURE:

Have someone else take your picture. Selfies don't crop well.
Photos taken by smartphones should work. When submitting the photo, make sure it is as large as possible. Don't compress the file. Preferred file size can be found below.
Include some space around your head and shoulders so that your body is not chopped off.
Stand 3-4 feet away from the camera/phone, and have the photo taken at your eye level.
Photo should be taken in vertical (portrait) format.
Holding up a foam finger or another spirit object won't show up if it's beyond your shoulders.

FILE SPECIFICATIONS:

Preferred file size is 2448px X 3264px or (24" wide by 32" tall) at a 72 DPI. The cutout at full size is roughly 2 ft by 3 ft. Smaller files may appear blurry and not as crisp.
To check the file size, right click the photo in your finder window.

PHOTO SUBMISSION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

No commercial advertising, including company names, apparel brands, hashtags, social media handles, phone numbers, logos, slogans or other branding.
Team-branded attire only. No third-party branding, including on apparel and in photo backgrounds.
No attire or other branding of NCAA schools or sports teams.
No political statements, logos, slogans or other political content.
No offensive or negative comments about the institution or other NCAA schools or sports teams.
No lewd, inappropriate or offensive photos.
No arms raised in photos.
No names, images, or likenesses of any NCAA players.

Xavier Athletics reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate. If your photo is rejected, an athletics staff member will contact you about obtaining a new photo.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are the Xavier Fan Cutouts refundable should I change my mind?
No – all sales of Xavier Fan Cutouts are final.

How many cutouts can I purchase on one single transaction?
You may purchase up to ten cutouts per transaction. After that, you will need to place an additional, separate order.

Will my Xavier Fan Cutout be at both men's and women's games?
Yes, cutouts will be up for every Xavier home game at Cintas Center for the 2020-21 season, including men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball.

Will I see my Xavier Fan Cutout on TV?
Xavier Athletics hopes that fans that purchase a Xavier Fan Cutout do get a chance to spot their cutout on TV. However, fan cutouts are not guaranteed to be visible to those at the arena and the audience viewing games at the arena via television and/or other media.

Can I make a special request for where my Xavier Fan Cutout is placed?
No. Xavier Athletics reserves the right to determine exact placement of each cutout inside Cintas Center and will not be able to accommodate special requests.

What will happen to my Xavier Fan Cutout at the end of the season?
At the end of the season, fans will have the opportunity to pick up their cutouts. Cutouts will only be available for pickup; no cutouts will be mailed or delivered. At that time, further details for pickup and specific instructions will be communicated to fans who purchased cutouts.
