2021-22: Took part in three individual events at the 2022 BIG EAST Championships…Earned a spot in the Championship final of the 50 free, finishing eighth, after setting a season-best time of 20.88 in the prelims…Finished 11th overall in the 100 free with a season-best time of 45.47…Earned a spot in the B-Final of the 200 free, finishing 15th overall, after setting a season-best time of 1:40.97 in the prelims…Won a gold medal and earned All-BIG EAST Team honors as part of the 400 free relay, swimming the second leg in 44.53.
2020-21: Earned a spot in the Championship final of three individual events and took part in two winning relays to help Xavier win a third-straight BIG EAST Championship...Set a personal-best time of 45.22 in the prelims of the 100 free to earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished fourth...Set a personal-best time of 1:40.36 in the prelims of the 200 fly to earn a spot in the championship final, finishing sixth...Set a personal-best time of 20.81 in the prelims of the 50 free to earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished eighth...Won a gold medal and set a school record as part of the 400 free relay, helping Xavier to a time of 2:57.96...Also won a gold medal as part of the winning 800 free relay.
2019-20: Scored in three events at the 2020 BIG EAST Championships to help the Musketeers repeat as team champions...Set a personal-best time of 21.05 in the Championship final of the 50 free to place eighth...Set a season-best time of 46.27 in the B-Final of the 100 free to finish 10th overall...Set a personal-best time of 1:41.13 in the prelims of the 200 free to earn a spot in the B-Final, where he finished in 12th place.
PRIOR TO XAVIER: Competed for Chesterton High School and Duneland Swim Club...Capped off his career with Chesterton with an undefeated season in dual matches, claiming the IHSAA Sectional Championship for a 21st and placing fourth as a team at the State Championship...During that run, was a two-time sectional champion, in the 50 free and the 100 free, and was a state finalist in the 100 free...With Duneland, finished out his career in July at the Indiana Senior State Long Course championships with personal-best times in four events.
PERSONAL: Planning to major in Business at Xavier...The son of Ed and Natalie Wing...Has an older sister, Aubrey Wing, who swims for IUPUI.
