2020-21: Took part in three individual events at the 2021 BIG EAST Championships, earning a spot in the Championship final in two, and the B-Final in the third to help the Musketeers to a third-straight BIG EAST Championship...Set a season-best time of 1:48.50 in the prelims of the 200 back to qualify in second place and earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished fourth...Set a season-best time fo 50.68 in the prelims of the 100 back to earn a spot in the Championship final where he finished eighth...Earned a spot in the 100 fly finals, finishing in 51.40 to score in 16th place.

2019-20: Qualified to compete at the Toyota US Open in December 2019, competing in the 200 back, setting a personal-best time for long-course of 2:09.78... Set a season-best time of 4:54.89 in the 500 free at the Akron Zip Classic... Helped the Musketeers place second at CSU Magnus Cup...Set a season-best time of 16:17.86 in the mile at CSU Magnus Cup...Set a season-best time of 51.81 in the 100 back as part of a relay at the CSU Magnus Cup...Set a season-best time of 1:52.76 in the 200 back at CSU Magnus CupSet a season-best time of 9:50.84 in the 1000 free against IUPUI...Was unable to compete at the 2020 BIG EAST Championships where the Musketeers won a second-straight team title.

2018-19: Scored in three individual events at the 2019 BIG EAST Championships to help the Musketeer claim the team conference title...Finished fourth in the timed final of the 1,650 free with a season-best time of 15:51.30...Set a school-record split for the 1000 free during the mile at 9:32.11...Earned a spot in the Championship final of the 200 back with a personal-best time of 1:47.39 in the prelims...Set a season-best time of 4:35.96 in the 500 free prelims, finishing 12^th in the finals.

2017-18: Competed in three events at the BIG EAST Championships…Placed second with a season-best time of 15:41.08 in the mile at the conference championship, setting the third fastest time in program history… Finished seventh in the 500 free at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 4:33.84, the sixth fastest time in program records…Competed in the B-Final of the 200 back, finishing with a season-best time of 1:49.10, the sixth fastest time in program history.

PRIOR TO XAVIER: Specializes in freestyle...Graduated with a pair of individual records at North Gwinnett, in the 200 free and 500 free...Was a finalist for the GHSA 6-7 A State Swimming Championship in both events, taking third in the 500 free with a time of 4:33.61 and sixth in the 200 free with a time of 1:41.66...As part of his club, Swim Atlanta, was the 2016 Winter Senior State Champion in the 1000 free and finished runner up in the 500 free and as part of the 800 free relay.

PERSONAL: Studying Nursing at Xavier..Is the son of Bill and Shannon Mahoney... Has a younger sister, Olivia.
