Hayley Schletker was named Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in June 2019. Her duties include acting as primary athletic communications contact for women’s soccer, baseball men’s and women’s swimming and men's and women's tennis, as well as social media and communications support for Xavier’s 18 programs, and other special projects for the Athletics Director’s office.
Schletker joined the Xavier Athletic Communications team in the summer of 2014 as an intern while completing the sport administration graduate program at XU and joined the full time staff as Athletic Communications Messaging Assistant in August 2016. She primarily worked with the Xavier women's soccer and men's and women's swimming programs, as well as assisting with other departmental needs including playing an integral part in the launch of the department's new website through digital partner SIDEARM Sports in the summer of 2015.
Prior to coming to Xavier, Schletker spent time as part of the creative services team for the Cincinnati Reds. She also previously worked for the Cincinnati Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
In addition to holding a master's in education in sport administration (Xavier '14), Schletker also earned a bachelor’s in journalism with a minor in sociology from Kentucky in 2008.
