Abbey Curtis joined the athletic communications staff in August of 2024. She serves as the primary communications contact for volleyball and lacrosse in addition to assisting with other responsibilities in the athletic communications office.
Curtis joined Xavier from the College of Charleston where she served as a communications and creative content intern in athletics from 2021-24. She built the brand design toolkit for women’s basketball during the 2023-24 season and designed graphics for five other Olympic sports teams.
Curtis also managed the social media accounts for softball, men’s soccer and women’s soccer in addition to creating content on CofCSports.com. She also worked for the Charleston Riverdogs press box staff from 2022-24.
The Fuquay-Varina, N.C., native holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the College of Charleston (’24).
