Alexis Rich
- Title:
- Assistant Coach
Alexis Rich joined the women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach in September of 2025.
Rich joined the staff after wrapping up her collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati in May of 2025. She was a four-year starter for the Bearcats as a defender, earning a spot on the AAC All-Conference Second Team as a junior. As a senior, Rich was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team ahead of the Bearcats’ first season in the conference. She finished her career with 91 ground balls, 62 caused turnovers, five draw controls and a goal.
“I’m excited to welcome Alexis to our staff,” said head coach Brittney Morris. "She brings not only great experience and defensive knowledge, but also a creativity that will elevate our team. Her ties to Cincinnati make her an even stronger fit, and I know our players will benefit from both her perspective and her passion for the game."
In her junior year, Rich led the team with 29 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. As a senior, she led the team once again with 26 caused turnovers and was second on the squad with 28 ground balls. Her 1.53 caused turnovers per game led the Big 12 in 2025.
Rich was a youth lacrosse coach for Triple Threat Elite Lacrosse in Hillsborough, N.J., where she mentored 14-15 year old athletes in skill development, team dynamics and sportsmanship. She was responsible for leading training programs and game strategies.
While at Cincinnati, Rich was a member of the Black Student-Athlete Alliance where she advocated for African American representation in athletics. She was elected by her team to be a part of the women’s lacrosse leadership team at UC. Rich was also selected into the IWLCA Students of Color Leadership Training Academy where she participated in personal and professional development as well as leadership training with other student-athletes.
The North Brunswick, N.J., native graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in communications in May of 2025.
