Greg Lautzenheiser was promoted to director of athletic communications in July of 2019 after previously serving as assistant director of athletic communications from August 2014 - June 2019.
He is the primary contact for men's soccer, women's basketball, men's and women's golf and cross country/track and field in addition to being the point person for GoXavier.com. He also supervises the undergraduate student staff and postgraduate intern.
Lautzenheiser previously worked at Eastern Illinois University from 2011-14. He served as an assistant sports information director with the Panthers, working with the men's basketball, baseball, men's soccer and women's soccer programs.
Lautzenheiser also worked as an athletic communications intern at Western Carolina in the fall of 2010 and was a graduate assistant in athletic communications at Western Illinois from 2008-10.
The Van Wert, Ohio, native earned a bachelor's in sports management and a minor in journalism from Bowling Green State University in 2008. He also holds a master's degree in recreation, parks and tourism administration from Western Illinois ('10).
