Joe Sullivan was named the assistant athletics director for development in October of 2024.

Sullivan served as the assistant director for athletics annual giving at Boston College from 2022-24. He managed a portfolio of nearly 200 donors and raised over million dollars annually, including multiple six-figure gifts.

Prior to working in fundraising, Sullivan served as the director of football player personnel at Boston College (2019-22) and football recruiting assistant at Boston College (2016-19). He also served as the director of basketball operations at Harvard during the 2015-16 season.

Sullivan was a graduate assistant men’s basketball coach and undergraduate team manager at Xavier from 2010-15.

The Boston, Mass., native holds bachelor’s degree from Xavier in liberal arts (’14) and a master’s degree from Xavier in sport administration (’22). He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Molly, and his their two children, Frankie and Jack.
