Kyle Morris

Kyle Morris joined the women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach in September of 2025.
Morris joins the staff from St. Mary’s College of Maryland where he spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach for the women’s program and one season with the men’s program. He helped lead the SMCM women’s team to four-straight United East Conference Championships.
“We are very fortunate for the opportunity to complete our staff with Kyle,” said Brittney Morris. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and proven experience in women’s lacrosse, and his expertise will add tremendous value to our program.”
In four seasons at SMCM, Morris mentored 17 All-Conference selections between both the men’s and women’s programs including one male player of the year and two female players of the year.
Prior to his time with the Seahawks, Morris spent four seasons at Oglethorpe University as the assistant men’s and women’s lacrosse coach before being promoted to the head men’s lacrosse coach in September 2020. At Oglethorpe, he mentored 10 All-Conference selections.
Morris spent one season as the men’s lacrosse assistant coach at York College of Pennsylvania. He worked as both the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator for the Spartans where he mentored five All-American selections.
He began his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater, Shorter University, in June of 2015 and spent one season as an assistant coach for the Hawks.
The Orlando, Fla., native graduated from Shorter in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a minor in photography. Morris was a four-year starter on the men’s lacrosse team at Shorter.
