Siemers Family Baseball Head Coach Billy O’Conner announced the addition of Troy LaNeve to the Xavier Baseball coaching staff in Fall 2025 LaNeve joined the staff as an Assistant Coach ahead of the 2026 season.
LeNeve comes to Xavier from Lipscomb University where he served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Player Development. In addition to overseeing daily operations and coordinating team operations, LaNeve also served as a hitting coach, creating individualized training programs for the Bisons.
LaNeve also previously worked in operations for Music City Baseball in Nashville, Tenn.
A graduate of Vanderbilt, LaNeve played in 129 games for the Commodores, starting in 79. The outfielder batted .260 for his career, collecting 80 hits, driving in 76 RBI and scoring 59 runs during his time at Vandy.
