Ryan Orner was hired in July of 2012 to take of the cross country and track and field programs. In that time, his student-athletes have rewritten over half of the cross country and track and field records.Â
Orner has also coached 37 all-conference honorees, including 13 individual conference champions.Â

JOHNS HOPKINS HIGHLIGHTS
- Coached 19 individual NCAA DIII qualifiers and 14 NCAA DIII All-Americans
- Named 2011 Mideast Indoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year by USTFCCCA
- Helped the women's cross country team to five consecutive appearances at the NCAA Division III National Championship with three top-10 finishes
- Helped the men's cross country team qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championship for the first time in school history in 2011
- Helped the Blue Jays capture 11 Centennial Conference team championships between cross country and track and field

COLLEGE CAREER
- Served as team captain of the Tigers' cross country team in 1999
- Led the cross country team to a Maryland State Championship as a senior
- Qualified for four ECAC championships and was a finalist at the America East Conference Championships in several eventsÂ
