Sally Schulte rewrote the Xavier record books in her four years on the Xavier volleyball team as she ranks in the top ten in numerous statistical categories.
Schulte, who led XU to a 88-55 mark in four years, helped Xavier make a transition into the Atlantic 10 from the Midwestern Collegiate Conference by being placed on the A-10 All-Conference First Team in her junior and senior seasons. The Musketeers had a winning record in each of her four seasons on the team and she was known as a shot maker and the team's vocal and emotional leader while playing in the fifth most games of any XU player (474).
Schulte holds the XU career kills (1,779) and is second attack attempts (4363) records as well as seventh most digs (1,338) ever. She also had some exceptional single season marks as she holds the fourth and fifth best seasons with 512 kills in 1995 and 511 kills in 1996. Schulte also had 369 digs in 1995, which used to be the eighth best mark in school history.
Since graduating, Schulte has established herself as a college coach both at Dayton and at Indiana.
