Sato Named AP Honorable Mention All-American

Sato, a two-time Atlantic 10 Conference First Team member and three-time A-10 Defensive Team member, is averaging 16.2 points and 8.1 rebounds this season.
This season Sato was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 10 First Team.
Sato holds the Xavier career record for three pointers with 304 in his career. He is the only active Division I player to have 1,900 points, 800 rebounds and 200 assists. His career totals are 1,968 points, 878 rebounds and 267 assists.
Xavier is 25-10 this year and has advanced to the NCAA Tournament “Sweet 16” for the second time in school history. The Musketeers will play Texas in the Atlanta Regional semifinal on Friday.
There will be a pep rally and send off for the team as the Musketeers head to Atlanta on Wednesday at 2 p.m. outside the west entrance to Cintas Center.
