Xavier Finishes Third at Dayton Fall Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio - The Xavier University women's golf team carded a one-round total of 313 (+33) on Monday to finish third in the 10-team University of Dayton Fall Invitational, which was played on the par 70, 5,690-yard North Course of the NCR Country Club. Cincinnati claimed the team title as the Bearcats carded a 15-over 295.
Junior Kara Manis led the Musketeers with a 3-over par 73 en route to a third-place finish in the field of 55. Lindsay Cornell carded a 78 (+8) to tie for 15th place. Diana Torry, Kathleen Hardy and Erin Gore each fired an 11-over par 81.
Competing as an individual, freshman Colette Ryan shot a 92 (+22) in her first action of the fall season.
The Dayton Fall Invitational concludes the fall season for the Musketeers. XU will be back in action on March 2 when the Musketeers will participate in the West Rio Verde Championship in Rio Verde, Ariz.
