"Xavier Nation" Shirt to be Unveiled at Musketeer Madness

CINCINNATI - Don't be surprised if at the next Xavier University basketball game or at any Xavier sporting event for that matter, you see the sidelines or stands flooded by the "Xavier Nation."
"Xavier Nation" is the first in a line of annual collectible t-shirts which will be known as `The X Shirt.' Proceeds from the sale of the shirt, which was introduced by Xavier officials and X-treme Fans, will benefit Matthew 25: Ministries.
The shirt will be unveiled at Musketeer Madness on Saturday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Cintas Center.
The front sports the words "Xavier Nation." The back includes a photo of one of Xavier's first basketball teams with the words "Generations of Excellence." The X Shirt logo, which will appear somewhere on each year's shirt, is also on the back.
This year's shirt was designed by a team of campus representatives and students, including members of the Student Alumni Association and X-treme Fans.
The shirt is 100% cotton, printed by Jansport and comes in sizes S-XXL. The cost if $15.00. The shirt is available at the Xavier Bookstore located in the Gallagher Student Center, online at the Bookstore's website or by calling 513-745-3311.
