Women's Soccer Team Loses At Saint Louis

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. --- The Xavier University women’s soccer team fell 1-0 at Saint Louis on Friday night. The Musketeers look to bounce back on Sunday when they visit the Atlantic 10-leading Charlotte 49ers, who are 8-0 in A-10 play.
The Musketeers battled to a scoreless tie through the first 48:34 but couldn’t find the back of the net all night. Saint Louis scored the match’s lone goal in the 49th minute when Julia Bradenberg scored from six yards out at 48:35, finishing off a pass from Kelly Waeckerle.
Saint Louis outshot Xavier 16-7.
Xavier falls to 0-6-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference and 1-13-2 overall, while Saint Louis raises its records to 5-2-1 in the A-10 and 9-3-4 overall.
