After Toledo cut XU's lead to 60-47 at 8:18, the Musketeers went on a 10-0 run to take a 70-47 lead at 6:04. Jason Love was a perfect 4-for-4 at the foul line to lead XU scorers during the stretch.
Up Next: Xavier returns to action on Thursday, November 20, against Missouri in the first round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off. The Tigers lead the all-time series with XU, 2-1, including victories in the last two meetings. In their most recent contest, fifth-ranked Missouri handed XU a 72-60 defeat on November 21, 2001, during the John Wooden Tradition at Conseco Fieldhouse. XU's only win in the series was a memorable one, as the 13th seeded Musketeers knocked off fourth-seeded Missouri, 70-69, in the first round of the 1987 NCAA Midwest Regional at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis. The win marked the first NCAA Tournament victory for Xavier, and also was the first basketball game every played at the Hoosier Dome. In that game, Byron Larkin, XU's all-time leading scorer and an analyst for Xavier's radio broadcast team, poured in a game-high 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Future XU Hall of Famer Tyrone Hill grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
