
Musketeers in Fourth After First Day of Competition

HOT SPRINGS, Va. - After the first day of competition at the CAA Championships, the Musketeers are in fourth place with a team score of 316 (+28). All-CAA second team member Breanna Patz is tied for seventh place after shooting a 5-over-par round of 77. Three Musketeers scored better than the course average, 82.0. Patz hit 10 of the 18 holes at par. All five Musketeers finished in the top 35.
Fellow 2010 All-Caa second team member Mary Beth McKenna was one shot behind Patz with a 6-over-par 78. McKenna finished tied for 11th place after day one of competition. She hit the most birdies of anyone in the field, with five.
Audrey Fellmeth was a shot behind McKenna, with a 7-over-par 79, which was good to tie for 15th place. Michelle Winkler was 10-over-par and shot a course average 82. Winkler was tied for 24th place. Rachel Levi ended the day tied for 34th place after going 13-over-par.
