Women's Golf Finishes First Day of Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Freshman Kristin Tan is currently leading the charge for the Musketeers in the opening day of the Wolverine Invitational. Tan was able to advance 33 spots to a tie for 40th with a second round score of 75.
Trailing close behind Tan is Breanna Patz with consistent play and an overall score for the first two rounds of 159. Audrey Fellmeth was able to card three birdies on her way to an overall 162 and is tied with Christine Cash at 66th place.
The Muskies had to battle the elements all day at the University of Michigan Golf Course. Xavier's team standing is currently 14th, but within striking distance of several teams.
The final day of competition will take place on Sunday, September 12, 2010 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
