Tu Holloway registered his second triple-double of the season to lead #24 Xavier (20-6, 11-1 Atlantic 10) to a 79-72 victory over Fordham (6-18, 0-12). Holloway scored 26 points to pace the Musketeers while Mark Lyons added 16 and Kenny Frease chipped in 14. Holloway grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists while not committing a turnover. Chris Gaston led the Rams with 26 points, followed by Brenton Butler with 21 points, and Alberto Estwick with 14. Gaston grabbed 15 boards and Kevin Bristol had 10. Lamount Samuell had 5 assists.
With tonight's win, Xavier secured its sixth straight 20-win season and the 14th 20-win season in the last 15 years.
Xavier, which is in its 11th season at Cintas Center, is now 147-18 (.891) all-time at its on-campus arena. The Musketeers are 76-10 (.884) against Atlantic 10 competition since Cintas Center opened.
Xavier has won an Atlantic 10 record 38 straight home games against A-10 competition. XU's last A-10 home loss came to Saint Joseph's, 69-58, in the 2005-06 home finale (2-28-06).
Xavier committed a season-low four turnovers. The previous low was five turnovers against Dayton (1-15-11).
Tu Holloway scored 26 points to move into 30th place on XU's all-time scoring with 1,143 career points. He moved past Dexter Bailey (1980-84) who scored 1,139 career points as a Musketeer, and Maurice McAfee (1997-01), who stands finished his career with 1,142 career points. Next in line for Holloway is Hank Stein (1956-59) who stands in 29th place on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,144 points.
Tu Holloway recorded his second triple-double of the season with 26 points, a career-high 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. He also had a triple-double against Wake Forest (12-18-10) with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists. According to XU record books, he is the first Musketeer to record two career triple-doubles.

Tu Holloway moved into a tie for second place on the single-season free throws made list with 204. Byron Larkin made 204 free throws in the 1986-87 season. David West holds the XU single-season mark with 209 free throws made (2002-03).
Andrew Taylor matched his career high with 7 points. He also scored 7 points against Temple (1-22-11).
Fordham sophomore Chris Gaston recorded his 15th double-double of the season with 26 points and 15 rebounds. After registering 19 double-doubles in his freshman season, now has 34 double-doubles in his career .
Runs
Trailing 21-20 at 8:54 of the first half, XU went on a 17-4 run to take a 37-25 lead at 2:31. All seven XU players who participated in the first half scored during the stretch, led by Dante Jackson with 6 points.
Trailing 54-53 at 11:02 of the second half, XU went on an 8-0 run to take the lead for good at 61-54 at 8:44. Tu Holloway scored 6 points during the spurt.
Up Next: The Musketeers welcome the La Salle University Explorers to Cintas Center on Tuesday, February 22, for a 7:00 p.m. contest. XU leads the all-time series with La Salle, 30-6, including the last four straight. Last season, XU defeated La Salle, 68-62, at Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia, in the Musketeers' Atlantic 10 opener. XU built a 16-point lead with 11:08 remaining in the game, but La Salle put together a furious rally to tie the game at 56-all with 3:37 left. But Dante Jackson hit a three-pointer with a little over two minutes left in the game, and Jordan Crawford scored seven of the Musketeers final 12 point to secure the victory. Crawford finished the night with 22 points, while Jason Love added 11 points and 8 rebounds.
