
Musketeers are Third in UC Spring Invite

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla.- The Xavier women's golf team end day two of the 2012 UC Spring Invitation in third place with a score of 609 (+33). Breanna Patz and Michelle Winkler are each in the top-15 after Saturday's round.
Patz is tied for sixth after her second- round 76 and has a total score of 149 (+5). Winkler is six-over-par with her 150 and is currently tied for 11th place. Winkler tied her season-low with her second-round 73. Kristin Tan is tied in 25th with a score of 153 (+9). Sophomore Christine Cash shot four strokes better than yesterday as she finished the round with a 78. Cash's tournament total is 160 and she currenty sits tied for 51st on the leaderboard.
Freshman Abby Smith is now tied for 69th place with a score of 164 (79-85). Ariel McNair and Alexandra Lake are each competing as individuals of the UC Spring Invite. McNair has a score of 164 (85-79) and is tied in 69th place. McNair has five birdies for the tournament which is tied for the fourth most out of all of the competitors. Lake has a tournament total of 175 (92-83).
Florida International remains in first place with a score of 584 and Shelby Coyle of FIU has a tournament-low 141 (-3).
