Korey Ward Earns Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore Korey Ward has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Golfer of the Week after earning medalist honors at the Marshall Invitational this week.
Ward won his first collegiate individual title with a one-stroke victory in Xavier's first event of the fall season, the Marshall Invitational. Ward earned medalist honors with a three-round total of 9-under-par 204 (69-66-69) at the Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W.Va.
Xavier hits the road later this week for the Golfweek Invitational, which will be held September 16-18 in Burlington, Iowa.
