Women's Golf Halted by Darkness in Second Round

BROUSSARD, Louisiana - The Xavier women's golf team began the spring season today at the Le Triomphe Collegiate Invitational, posting a 321 (+33) in the first round. The team is tied with Houston Baptist for fifth place. Play was stopped during the second round due to darkness, and play will resume tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. Senior Breanna Patz fired an opening round score of three-over par, 75 and is tied for fifth place.
Christine Cash posted a plus-nine, 81 and is currently tied for 24th place. Abby Smith shot an 82 (+10) and sits tied for 34th out of the 88 competitors. Shane Crutchfield was right behind Smith, and 83 (+11) and is tied for 41st.
Ariel McNair carded an 84 (+12) while Alexandra Lake finished with an 87 (+15). McNair and Lake are tied for 48th and 64th respectively. Kristin Tan rounded out the squad with a 92 (+20).
