Vattanapisit Leads XU to Second Place

HAPPY VALLEY, PA. – The Xavier men’s golf team wrapped up the Rutherford Invitational with a final score of 895 (+43). The Musketeers ended in second place overall behind Binghamton University by five strokes. Tanapol Vattanapisit was the medalist for the tournament with a score of 73-73-70=216 (+3).
Vattanapisit won the medalist position after winning in playoff holes. Yuki Kato ended the competition tied for 15th place with a score of 224 (+11). Korey Ward tied for 17th place with a final score of 225 (+12) while Aaron Siekmann ended the Rutherford Invite tied for 53rd place with a score of 235 (+22).
Connor Tendall finished tied for 59th place with an overall score of 238 (+25).
